Getting Started:
What’s involved in provisioning?
There are three parts to provisioning: creating the client’s look and feel (logos, color schemes, etc.); activating authorized users; and creating a job template library.
How long does it take to provision a client?
Generally a few days to a few weeks. The more users there are to be served and the more jobs there are the longer the implementation period.
What is the client’s role in provisioning?
Clients are expected to provide the names and departments of the target end users. For large organizations, clients are expected to provide this data in CSV format. Clients must also commit the time InqHire's staff requires to develop appropriate job questionnaires. Generally this involves a modest amount of management time needed to gain agreement on eligibility requirements.
Questionnaires:
How are questionnaires created?
Questionnaires are created in a four step process. First, job descriptions are reviewed in detail to understand requirements. Second, brief interviews are conducted with department managers to confirm the understanding. Third, the questionnaires are assembled. Finally, questionnaires are reviewed with managers for validation before being released.
Can we modify questionnaires that have been created for us?
Yes. CASE gives you the ability to add, delete, or modify questions. You also have the ability to modify the answers to questions.
Suppose two managers have different expectations for the same job. How do you deal with this?
CASE gives you the ability to establish unique job templates for individual managers. Starting with a basic template, you can create variants of it whenever you need to. There is no limit to the number of templates you may have for a given job.
Applicant processing:
How do applicants apply to jobs under CASE?
Applicants apply for jobs just as they do now. Links may be placed in job postings on your web site or on internet job boards. Either way, they will be directed to an opening dialog which describes the process to them.
Can CASE distinguish between active and passive applicants?
Yes. CASE distinguishes between applicants you have invited or have been invited on your behalf and those who seek you out.
Security:
How do I know that my data is secure?
CASE is a fully secure, managed service. This means the client lacks administrative privileges required to gain access to data maintained for anyone other than themselves.
Do I need to worry about viruses or malware?
No. InqHire controls all dataflow to your desktop. All data is filtered through anti-virus software before it is sent to you.
Record keeping:
What happens to all the data you collect on a client’s behalf?
The data for each job is archived for you in case you require it for an audit.
What data do you keep?
Everything. That means a record of every applicant, their EEO status, resumes where appropriate, notes submitted by the hiring team, and individual candidate assessments.
How long do you keep it?
InqHire follows applicable state and federal laws for data retention purposes.
What happens if I terminate the service?
You may request a copy of the archived data. There is a nominal processing fee for this service.
Reporting:
What sort of reporting does CASE provide?
CASE provides reporting at multiple levels. On the end user side, CASE reports job activity at the manager and department levels. On the HR side, CASE reports job activity at the recruiter, staffing director, and HR department level.
What’s the difference between this and an applicant tracking system (ATS)?
CASE is intended to instrument the hiring process, unlike ATSs which are aimed more at providing activity reporting. Also, CASE has an exceptionally sophisticated questioning capability to perform precision screening; ATSs do not. Finally, unlike ATSs, CASE provides automated workflow for the interview and selection process.
General:
Can CASE integrate with an ATS?
Yes. CASE can be integrated with ATSs so that the applicant is completely unaware of the handoff.
Is there any way to try and buy this service?
Yes. Contact us and we’ll explain how that works.
